July 14, 2012 Litchfield, Illinois Weather started off awesome for this race at 9am....low 80s and overcast. By 1pm (my run time) the clouds were starting to dissipate and the temperature was on the rise. Whew! And by 3pm the sun and heat were in full force again! ...that was Cory and Mark's wave...poor guys. The course was great. Lots of obstacles, water, and fun! Quite a few of out-of-towners too! Nice race put on by Brain Hollo and his Big Dawg team! In spite of my distaste for trail running (my only complaint) I finished first in my age division, and second overall female. ;)
