Class descriptions.
CORE CONDITIONING - This membership included class has one main focus: your abdominals! Spend 20 solid minutes building up your core muscles. Although the class time is short, it is focused and it will not disappoint! (Class is not limited to members only please see price list for more details)
AGEFIT - This is a low impact class that is perfect for those who are starting their fitness journey or are limited in what they are able to do. It focuses on strength and stretching.
BODY TRIM - Follow your instructor in a challenging full-body group resistance program. Body Trim is a high-intensity strength training and toning class that utilizes dumbbells, kettle bells, body weight, and steps to isolate and tone all the major muscle groups. This class includes core work as well as short aerobic bursts to maximize fat burn.
BOOT CAMP - Lace up your gym shoes & get ready to get FIT! This program is designed to challenge your mind, and your body. For 6 weeks be prepared to endure sweat, tears, and the elements (we train in all weather). You WILL reap RESULTS. Boot Camp caters to all fitness levels from the beginner through advanced. Be motivated, not intimidated! Not Currently Offered.
BUTTS & GUTS - Butts & Guts works…well…your butt and gut. Join Meghan for a quick half hour targeting those troublesome areas!
BEGINNER CARDIO KICK - This beginner geared workout combines kickboxing, and martial arts movements, along with traditional aerobic skills. Cardio kick is a high energy class designed to get that heart rate up and burn tons of calories! It is a full body workout full of punches, kicks, and combinations! With cardio kickboxing you work at your own pace and aerobic level allowing anyone looking for a little more fitness in their life to jump in and have fun!
CROSS CONDITIONING - Heard of CrossFit? It is the new BIG thing in the Group Strength Training & Conditioning Industry. CROSS CONDITIONING is the FIT-to-GO version. It will consist of similar methods. This program is a strength and conditioning class which uses highly varied, random functional movements performed at a high level of intensity. It combines strength and power. The results are amazing and will sculpt your body like no other. This class uses traditional and non-traditional tools. This program can accommodate most levels of fitness.
FIT-N-FAB - This class is a low impact steady workout. It focuses on stretching and strength, perfect for those who are recovering from an injury, just beginning their fitness journey or individuals who are limited in what they are permitted to do.
FREE WEIGHT WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY - Come hit the weight room! FREE WEIGHT FRIDAY Class utilizes machines, dumbbells, body weight exercises, and other tools to create a unique total body strength workout each time! Build lean muscle mass, reduce body weight and body fat, improve metabolism, bone density, stability, coordination, and more! Come experience all the benefits strength training has to offer! Each participant's workout is tailored to their body and ability. BEGINNER TO ADVANCED. LIMITED to 10 participants
HIIT - HIIT or High Intensity Interval Training gets your heart rate up and has you burning fat fast! You will work in short bursts of high intensity with short, sometimes active rest periods in between. This class will go fast and leave you burning fat for hours! 30 minutes
HOT YOGA - (This session will take place outdoors until we have deemed safe to return to our heated indoor studio) The Hot Yoga session includes carefully controlled movements, extra mindfulness, and mellow music. Postures are approached in gradual steps, with plenty of time to focus on breathing and repetition so that the practice is simple, yet stimulating as you gently work the body’s range of motion. These classes are limited in size and the temperature of the room is carefully monitored and controlled.
INDOOR CYCLING - Commonly known as SPINNING, this is FIT-to-GO's most popular class! The Indoor Cycling class uses stationary cycling bikes to give you an amazing workout. This low-impact class can be designed for all fitness levels from first time attendance to extremely advanced. This class is an amazing fat burning cardio workout and is sure to burn the most calories! All levels welcome. A full water bottle and towel are required. LIMITED to 15 participants
KETTLE BELL - Kettle bell is the ultimate momentum based workout. Swing, throw, and catch your way to firmer legs, glutes, back, arms, and core. This class not only develops strength, it also develops cardiovascular conditioning, stability, flexibility, balance, and agility. Limited equipment available. Participants are encouraged to bring their own kettle bell but not required. This class is for most fitness levels. Those with back and/or joint problems should use caution. Not Currently Offered.
LUNCHTIME CRUNCHTIME - Lunchtime Crunch time is a great way to get in a total body workout in just a quick 30 minutes. This class will utilize all equipment, free weights, and YOUR body for its exercises. Make the best of your lunch break by joining Lunchtime Crunchtime to re-energize yourself for the rest of your day!
PILATES - Created by Joseph H. Pilates, this class is one of the fastest growing forms of exercise in the world. Focusing on the "powerhouse" of the body, Pilates builds strength without excess bulk, creating a sleek, toned body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen. No matter what your age or condition, it will work for you. This therapeutic class improves core strength, flexibility, agility and economy of motion. It can even help alleviate back pain and other chronic ailments. It is recommended you bring a mat or large towel to perform exercises on. Intermediate or advanced students are encouraged to bring props such as small balls, pilates rings, or straps. Instruction will be provided for props.
SCULPT 101 - Burn the belly fat, tighten your core, tone up arms, thighs, and your bottom using hand weights, body weight, kettlebells and resistance bands for an all over body re-shape. Sculpt 101 will have you in and out of the gym leaving no muscle group untouched!
TOTAL HIIT - A perfect addition to your weekly fitness routine, the OUTDOOR Summer Total HIIT is a combination of high intensity strength, cardio, & core, blended together with a weekly boost of motivation, accountability, & wellness tips from Meghan! The exercise portion of this program will last approx. 35 minutes…remainder time will be discussion, encouragement, & goal setting to keep you on track!
TABATA - TABATA is a high intensity interval training which improves the aerobic system (CARDIO) as well as the anerobic system (MUSCLES). Created in Japan By Izumi Tabata, this form of training is more effective in less time then traditional exercise, and has been backed by studies. Because of it's high impact interval format, TABATA burns tons of calories and builds lean muscles and endurance. This program consists of exercises performed 20 seconds with 10 second rest for periods of 4 minutes for a total of 8 rounds. Once completed, the class will finish with 10 to 15 minutes of core.
TRX - Total body resistance training utilizing TRX straps. Every exercise builds true functional strength and improves flexibility, balance and core stability all at once! The TRX Suspension Training system uses your body as the machine.
W.O.W. (WOMEN ON WEIGHTS) - The goal of Women on Weights is to put some weights in your hands and add resistance during a circuit training style workout. Mondays will focus on upper body and core, and Fridays will focus on lower body and core. This training style uses low weight with high repetitions causing you to build strong, lean, endurance muscles.
YOGA FLOW - This Hatha/Vinyasa style class is focused on encouraging body awareness through mind, body, & breath connection. Each class will begin with a warm-up phase of deep breathing techniques and gentle movements. It will be followed by strength, flexibility and endurance building standing poses to create total body and core toning. The final phase of this program will include floor poses utilizing gentle twists, bends, and stretches to build strength, enhance flexibility, and provide relaxation. This class is beginner friendly and open to all levels.
